Welcome to A Holmes & Son, Traditional Family Butchers

A Holmes & Son Butchers was founded in 1965 by Alan & Fred Holmes, in the North West Leicestershire village of Swannington. Although we have now moved on and have a very busy High Street shop in the town of Coalville, we still pride ourselves on giving good old fashioned service and the best possible quality and range of products.

Our butchers and production staff produce meat and meat products on the premises using traditional methods. Our shop combines modern equipment and fittings, with very well presented and knowledgeable staff. A massive range of traditional products enables us to produce one of the best displays you will see from an independent butchers shop in the Coalville area. We are situated in High Street Coalville on the opposite side to Coalville Library.
